BLACKHAWKS ROLL OVER RANGERS 5-2
A rough night for the Rangers at Madison Square Garden before they head on a two game road trip to Arizona and Las Vegas as they just couldn't seem to gain their feet to the visiting Chicago Blackhawks.
Nick Holden and Mika Zibanejad scored the Rangers tallies while Henrik Lundqvist stopped 32 of 35 shots on goal. Zibanejad scored while on a 5 on 3 power play advantage but the Rangers squandered five other man advantages while only having to defend one.
At times the Rangers looked heavily overmatched turning over the puck 22 times in the contest giving Lundqvist more work than he deserved. The Rangers at times looked like they did at the begining of the season when things were going really bad for the team.
With the two game road trip coming up it just might be what the Rangers need to find themselves as a team.
