RANGERS VS COYOTES POST GAME RECAP 1/6

LUNDQVIST STOPS COYOTES 2-1

Another rough game for the Rangers and another fantastic game in net for Henrik Lundqvist. Lundqvist stopped 39 shots on goal and stopped a 3 Arizona Coyote shooters in the shootout to lead the Rangers to a 2-1 win. The only goal he allowed was a power play goalto former Ranger Anthony Duclair.

The win was Lundqvist's 424th of his career which moved him ahead of Tony Esposito on the all time wins list to take sole posession of 8th place.

The Rangers who once again suffered from lack of puck posession and turnovers came out lucky tonight that Henrik Lundqvist was on his game. At times it seemed as though only Henrik, J.T. Miller and Jimmy Vesey came to play while the rest of the team to put it bluntly looked lackluster.

Vesey who scored the lone Rangers regulation goal was a one man wrecking crew at times taking the puck into the Arizona zone and even had a bit of a scrum with Coyotes center Max Domi.

Mika Zibanejad scored the shootout goal to give the Rangers the 2 ponts in the standings.
