The Rangers recalled forward Tanner Glass and defenseman Steven Kmpfer from Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL on Sunday..
This is Kampfer's second stint with the Rangers in the last week having been recalled due to injuries to Dan Girardi and Kevin Klein. Kampfer was returned to Hartford when newly acquired Branden Smith arrived in New York.
Glass who has spent the entire season in Hartford adds some much needed toughness to the Rangers lineup. in 56 games with the Wolf Pack this season Glass has 6 goals and 9 assists for 15 points, has collected 86 penalty minutes and is a minus three.
Kampfer will not be in the Rangers lineup tonight in Tampa Bay but Glass may very well be as Alain Vigneault still has yet to make a decision.
