RANGERS THUMP CANES 6-1 IN CAROLINA

Opening the game with a goal just :52 seconds in by Chris Kreider his first of two on the night set the tone for the Rangers 6-1 Win over the Carolina Hurricanes in the first meeting this season.

Goals by Mika Zibanejad, a flip in from center ice that eluded Scott Darling, Paul Carey’s first of the season and two from Jesper Fast put the game away for New York

Henrik Lundqvist picked up his 10th win of the season with a 32 save performance while 10 different Rangers picked up a point in the game.

Rangers return to action Friday night taking on Original Six opposition the Detroit Red Wings.
