RANGERS AT MAPLE LEAFS GAME DAY NOTES 10/7

RANGERS HEAD TO TORONTO FOR FIRST ROAD GAME

New York Rangers (0-1-0) vs Toronto Maple Leafs(1-0-0)
Tonight, 7:00 PM TV: MSG+ Radio: WEPN
Air Canada Centre, Toronto, CA

The Rangers look to pick up their first win of the season tonight in Toronto after a disappointing loss in the Home Opener on Thursday and work off of the high points of their game. Mika Zibanejad will try to fuel off of his two power play goal performance and prove his worth as newly appointed number one center.

This is the first meeting of three between the Rangers and Maple Leafs this season.

Heading into tonight’s game against a revamped Maple Leafs roster the Rangers will have a tough time as the Leafs were firing on all cylinders Wednesday scoring 7 goals against the Winnipeg Jets, and only allowing 2 goals.

Henrik Lundqvist is once again slated to get the start in the Rangers net. No changes in the lineup have yet been announced.
