RANGERS vs BLUES POST GAME WRAP UP 10/10

RANGERS THWARTED BY BLUES 3-1

The Blues kept their unbeaten streak going handing the Rangers their third loss of the season tonight 3-1. An early goal just 15 seconds into the opening period by the Blues set the tone for the game, a power play bank shot off of Henrik Lundqvist for the 2nd and an empty net goal finished off the night for New York

Mika Zibanejad kept up his scoring and power play streak with his 5th goal of the season and the 4th of those 5 as a power play goal.

Pavel Buchnevich played an inspired game but was thwarted time and time again by Blues goalie Carter Hutton who made 31 saves on the night.

Although burnt for the early goal Henrik Lundqvist playing a solid game stopping 20 of 22 shots on net that he faced.

Rookie Filip Chytil was sent to Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL before the game. Newly acquired Adam Cracknell made his Rangers debut on the 4th line.
