RANGERS LOOK TO END SKID AT HOME VS PREDS


New York Rangers (1-5-2, 4 pts) vs Nashville Predators (4-2-1, 9 pts)
12:30 pm, Madison Square Garden, NYC

Having won seven of their last 10 games against Nashville (7-3-0), including four of the last five games against the Predators (4-1-0) the Rangers will try to stop their 5 game winless skid and pick up their 2nd win of the season in the Saturday afternoon matinee at the Garden. 

This is the first of two meetings this season between the teams and the only game of 2017, the next coming in Nashville in February.

Leading the Rangers will be Mika Zibanejad (5 goals) and Kevin Shattenkirk (5 assists, 7 Points) against Nashville’s Filip Forsberg (5 goals, 9 points) and P.K. Subban (6 assists).

Henrik Lundqvist(1-3-2, GAA 3.15, SV% .905) is expected to get the start against Pekka Rinne (4-1-0, GAA 2.01, SV% 932).

Rick Nash is the Rangers team leader vs the Predators with 26 goals and 42 points in 59 games against Nashville lifetime.
